Seasons 1 & 2: Jeffrey explored the messaging, meaning, and key vocabulary of each chapter & verse of the Gita. In the first few classes, he set the historical and cultural context leading up to the Gita, helping us grasp the full significance of what was to follow.
Season 3: Drawing from a variety of literary sources such as the Upanishads, Puranas, and other Vedic texts, Jeffrey focused on the larger themes of the Gita. Through lilas, stories, and anecdotes, he revealed the deeper messages hidden within the Gita and the vast Vedic library.
Season 4: As explained in the introduction of "Bhagavad Gita Comes Alive," the Gita contains at least four levels of meaning. This season delves into a deeper level, accessible only to those who have been initiated by a qualified teacher and guided through the first three levels.
